At ECS 2026 in Cologne, 272 sessions were selected from 1,145 submissions. That's an acceptance rate of just under 24%, bringing together 250 speakers from 28 countries, including Microsoft experts, MVPs and independent community voices.

The result? An average session rating of 4.61 out of 5, the highest in ECS's recorded history. Across 4,814 evaluations, 92% of ratings were either 4 or 5. The numbers also tell us something about what our community values. Sessions on AI agents and Copilot extensibility attracted some of the largest audiences, while SharePoint was the highest-rated topic among those with at least ten sessions.

Behind these results is a programme shaped by technical expertise, practical experience and the questions professionals are asking right now. As we prepare for the 15th ECS in Düsseldorf, these are the standards we're taking into 2027.
